Our Spring Break camp is open to families of school aged kiddos. We have catered all of our content to be engaging and age appropriate for all K-8th graders. This year our focus is on the SCRATCH coding software, where kiddos will code their very own digital video games and storybooks!
Our camp will take place at the Holiday Theatre located at 2646 W. 32nd Ave. Denver, CO 80211. Program hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm daily (drop off begins at 7:30 am). Our day will be filled with coding activities both on the computer and through other hands-on activities. Families are asked to provide student lunches. We provide two healthy snacks each day (morning and afternoon).
We do follow all local, state, and national COVID safety guidance including but not limited to mandatory face covering by all staff, students, and individuals visiting the property, daily sanitizing, bi-weekly deep cleaning and disinfecting, and social distancing. There are three on-site staff, which allows us to have small groups of 10-12 students in two cohorts. We do record student temperatures at both arrival and dismissal, as well as points throughout the day. Students are frequently taken to the restroom to wash their hands and we also have sanitizer stations throughout the facility.
At least two 30-45 minute outdoor breaks and learning activities are incorporated each day (weather permitting).
Camp costs are $55/day. This includes covers all project materials, daily snacks, and a camp t-shirt. After care is available for an additional $10/day and extends to 6:00 pm.
